Brace yourself. Denogginizer is a massive Double IPA that’s sublimely hopped with an over-the-top dosing of dank, sticky, West Coast hops. With just enough malt backbone to keep the big, bold, resinous hop monster in check, be careful, you might lose your head to the Denogginizer.

Deep clear amber color, small steady off-white head. Caramel, riped fruits and some alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Fruity and a bit alcoholic with light hop oilyness. Strong and mellow but lacks real hop kick, maybe not so fresh.

Pour is a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma Is a ok fruity hop with a little honeysuckle and caramel malt. Flavor is hoppy but way more malt heavy. It’s not a sweet malt but more of a dry heavy malt. This is not hoppy enough for me to be considered a double IPA. No alcohol is felt but again not much of a hop presence. One of this beers that 10 years ago would have been world class but palates change and some of the newer DIPA’s blow this out of the water as far as fruity hops.

Bottle, bottled 13.12.2016 (from beergium). Pours clear amber with whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, caramel, candy, alcohol, fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, pine, malt, citrus, some pineapple, pine. Finish is resin bitter and sweet with very prominent alcohol burn. Overall: not really refined, but drinkable, sweet caramelly boozy mess.

Tap. Pours clear amber. Aroma is mostly tropical fruit, some pines, but really mostly fruity. Body is heavy, sweet and fruity, but rather flat too. Sweet sticky palate. A double IPA for sure and not the worst at it.
