Still drinking solid, side by side with the 2019, thinner but plenty of bourbon and chocolate notes left. More barrel and less chocolate.

Bottle shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a clear dark brown colour with little life. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, vanilla lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, oily, vanilla lactose palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with a large creamy brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves great residual and lacing. Aroma is roasty cocoa bourbon, vanilla, hints of marshmallow. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, bourbon and cocoa malts in perfect balance, hints of vanilla and toasted coconut. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Bourbon comes on a bit after drinking, eventually a bit to forward, but overall a pretty damn good BA RIS here.
