Our amber-colored Bavarian Wheat beer is fruity! The brewing process is controlled to give us a clear banana-like aroma profile formed by the special yeast strain we use. The proteins from the wheat malt provide the beer with exceptional head retention and a uniquely smooth and creamy mouthfeel and body.

A small bottle from A-Mart in Jing Mei, the most recent iteration with the nice minimalist label. This one is ABV 5.0%, not 5.5% but Brewver will not allow me to add as a new beer. Aroma: minimal, tending towards floral rather than banana. Appearance: clear copper, completely flat. Palate: medium-bodied and oily, softish carbonation; noticeably tart at the finish. Taste: lightly sweet with a hit of candied umeboshi, wet newspaper; poor.

35 cl bottle on March 2, 2018. At the Sunmai Bar at Taipei Taoyuan Airport.Marked 180122_F361 and 180522_00415.Slight hazy golden to amber color, white head. Candy, fruity, sweet, odd spicy taste. Candy, spicy, sweet aftertaste. Medium and fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Candy, sweet, fruity scent. Not much hefe-style.6/3/6/3/11=2.9
