Hoppy Feet has been lovingly crafted by combining premium malt with lots of Amarillo and Columbus hops. Grapefruit and Pine are balanced on the nose and on the palate by a nutty, dark chocolate, roasted backbone.

Bomber. Pours a very dark brown with medium creamy light tan head with sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hops and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel with a strong hop bite upfront with roast and chocolate and nice bitter finish. A very good Black IPA from Clown Shoes.

Pours dark brown/black color with tan head. Aromas of citrus and roasted malt. Roasted malt flavor with some grapefruit. Medium body with average carbonation. A bit of a letdown after enjoying the Hoppy Feet 1.5 so much.

Not a bad bipa, just a little too bitter for me, not enough roasted malt character to balance the grapfuit. Decent, not extraordinary

Bottle, 75cl. It doesn’t look too good in the glass, with its hazy, brown body. A cute beige head sits on top, saving the day. Lots of piney hops on the nose, with roasted malts, almost burnt. Smooth, full-bodied and slightly warming on the palate, dry. Roasted and very hoppy flavor with pine cones, lemon peel and some coffee. Really lasting finish. Wonderful. 110820

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head and lacings. Vague roast, pine and grape. Really dry and bitter flavor. I wish the hops would be more fruity and flavorfull - nut just bitter. Medium bodied.

Almost with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, dusty and rather hoppy - grapefruit and pine needles. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 070811
