Bottle at home, paired to a meal with a pear stew. Great pairing, next time I’ll try to make a stew with Faro in it. Clear dark golden with thin white head. Sweet malts, dry wood, cardboard, old apple and pear peels, distant lambic aromas, sugar, dusty dark honey, apple vinegar. Moderate sweet with a slight rinse sour note. Medium body and soft carbonation. Never a huge fan of Faro but this gastronomic discovery opens new doors.

Clear amber ish color with a small layer on top. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a bit soft carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and acidity. Quite sherry ish flavor. Fruity, oak, vinous, oxidation and some candy in the flavor.

37.5 cL bottle. Hazy, orangish-brown color. The aroma is ripe apples, caraway seeds, cinnamon, tart cherries, and leather. Sweet and sugary, with a subdued funk. Light to medium body, sticky, clean, and syrupy. This is a fun and well balanced beer. The funkiness is mellowed out, sadly. Nicely complex, and well made.
