375 ml corked bottle, vintage 2017. Moderate pop at opening.
Amber, a bit brownish, medium hazy body, with a small, beige head.
Aroma of moderate funk, wood, candy sugar, dried fruits, apples, some caramel.
Tastes sweet, sugary, a bit sticky, with sweet apples, dried fruits, wood, some caramel, almost no funk.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes sweet, a bit dry, moderate wooden, sugary, a bit fruity, with slight funk.

OK. The nose is quite interesting, but the taste is too sweet, with too much sugar and quite simple. My bottle also seems a bit oxidized. Still quite good to drink, not the worst style example I've had.

Bottle. Color: Amber, frothy off-white head. Taste: Combination of light sour and medium sweet and bitter notes. Notes of brown sugar and caramel. By far the most bittery Faro I have had. Bittery palate. Medium body, soft carbonation. Definitely not my favourite Faro.

The worst faro lambic I've had. Also second best. Not a huge amount of complexity here. Tinny kind of aroma like licking old cans. Amber pour with decent head and lacing. Some grapefruit amd a little sugar. Pretty clean finish with a bit of a papery cardboard vibe. Bottle from biercab.

Super Lecker!
