Very dark brown with plum accents. 3 finger head. 375 new bottles in gueuze tumbler. Nose is sugary sweet with a lot tannic lemon hint. Very tart with nice balance. Love the sweetness bird a pretty darn good faro. Not hard to get so I’m glad I finally got to rate this one.

Dark orange color with hardly any head. Very sweet aroma of candis sugar and malts. The same taste that reflects the candis sugar. Quite easy to drink, it’s just that the sugar overpowers the lambic character way too much and it’s not really sour.

’Artificial’ faro with yellowish white, thick moussy but not very stable head and darkish, copper-like amber colour, clear. Artificial sweetness in the nose, caramel, subdued lambic funkiness, tea, honey, dried leaves, sweet tobacco. Taste begins fresh and crisp, sweet caramel candy along with a lemony sourness, bit artificial, lambic coming through quite late and in a shy way, in the form of a light funky sourness and bitterishness. A bit more lambic-like than its congeners by Lindemans and Timmermans but from this brewery I had expected something more earthy and funky.

Coppery color with a frothy and dense light beige head, with good lasting. Aroma has notes of red fruits, some vinegar notes. Flavor is fruity, dominating cherries and berries, wooden and slightly acidic in the mouth. The final is fruity with very light vinegar hints.

375ml bottle. Pours dark orange brown with a small head. Aroma is sour bacon and sweet banana. Taste is sweet candy to start. Sour, smoky finish.

Flaska från belgianbeerz.com. Kopparfärgad vätska med gräddigt skum. Dofter av säd och hö. Låg sötma med liten syrlighet. Tunn munkänsla. Inte särskilt upphetsande.

Bottle from a friend, many thanks. Hazy brown color with minimal white head. Aroma of Tokai wine, raisins, malt, wood. Taste, semi sweet, semi tart, again Tokai wine, raisins, sugar.

Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, dried apricots, candy sugar, white grape juice. Quite sweet flavour, light funk, light citrus zest, artificial sweetener. Finish dried apricot, hint of lemon zest, quite spicy. Decent beer.
