En krämig rejäl mörk öl där kaffe- och chokladtoner förenas med kråkbärens djupa och mjuka smak. Vår variant av stout är lite mindre fyllig och lite mer uppfriskande med tydlig beska och en fin eftersmak av citrus.

Kråkbär växer på fjällhedar, på myrar och i sandiga miljöer i hela landet. Bäret ser ut som ett svart lingon och vinterhärdigheten är god.

Bottled (Nolia Beer 2019). Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head which leaves some lace. Aroma is some dark berries, lactose, some roasted and toasted notes with mild ashiness. Flavour is quite similar to the elements of the aroma with mild herbs too. Wellbalanced, but a bit thin.

Appearance: Black colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, berries.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Roasted malt, berries, liquorice.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with rich firm head. Rich aroma of licorice and leather. Mid dry with medium to full body and rounded, somewhat spritzy mouthfeel. Salmiak and leather, coffee and harsh dark berries. Long bitter finish. Old school American style porter/stout, reminiscent of the first US microbrews shipped to me a quarter century ago. The crowberries just add a nuance. Very likeable.

Bottled at Porterfestivalen (Göteborg) 2017, on November 18.Clear dark brown to black color, tan head. Fruity, hoppy, sweet scent. Hoppy, roasted taste. Warming alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.6/3/6/3/11=2.9

Bottle at Nolia Beer. Opaque black colour, medium-sized brownish head. Toasted, a bit berryish aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Sweetish toasted flavour. Some cocoa. Berries are not evident. Ok.
