Dark brown colour with ruby highlights, a big frothy-creamy mocha-coloured head, good stay and leaving some nice creamy lacing. Chocolate malt nose over the roasted malts, maybe hints of coffee, but a touch more vanilla. The roasted barley base shows some sweetness with the chocolate notes, and some decent nuttiness. Smooth mouthfeel with decent dryness in the end. The coffee is a little felt lingering, but not up in there. Not a bad chocolaty, stronger stout.

Blik geprobeerd bij Kandinsky Tilburg. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van chocolade en rook. De smaak is vol, chocolade koffie en een hintje rook.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a creamy, brown head. Nice lacing. Scents include chocolate, coffee, molasses and a little black cherry. First swig was delicious and lightly sweet with flavours of Melloids cough drops, coffee, cocoa and dark roasted malt. Finish is medium sweet with roasted sweet malt flavour lingering.

Can from the LCBO. Super dark mahogany with one ginger lingering dark tan head. Nose is coffee and dark chocolate with some light vanilla and milky notes and lots of roast.. Light+ sweet chocolate with a medium coffee bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and creamy with average carbonation. Solid. 8/4/7/4/16

Café, chocolat noir, gâteau au chocolat sont les principales composantes de l’olfactif avec une brève perception de houblons épicés. Noire avec de subtils reflets roux se coiffant d’un col moyennement épais qui tombe assez rapidement. Chocolat crémeux en bouche, nougat, café sont les éléments sucrés qui dominent les saveurs. La torréfaction est douce et sous-jacente aux éléments sucrés. De très subtils houblons épicés et terreux tentent de s’immiscer dans un ensemble bien chocolaté. Can: Poured a black color stout with a medium size dark brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of floral coffee notes with some lightly sweet black chocolate notes. Taste is a mix of floral coffee notes with some sweet blackchcolate notes with light lactose notes. Body is pretty full for style with a nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Well made breakfast stout with a nice texture.

Poured from 330mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Super roasty, coffee, touch of smoke, quite enjoying this at 6.5% ABV. Good stuff.

lattina 33 cl, schiuma color cappuccino media grana media persistenza, colore nero, al naso cacao caffè vaniglia leggero liquirizia e affumicato, in bocca è perfettamente equilibrata vellutata caffè cioccolato al latte vaniglia caramello leggero liquirizia, corpo rotondo, carbonazione leggera, dolce con amaro moderato.
