Can, 0.33l. Black pour, one finger creamy beige head, medium retention. Nice lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is cocoa, coffee and chocolate, mild roastiness. Medium body, soft but lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, creamy and soft. Roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma of cocoa, coffee, roasted malt. Chocolate, licorice. Subtle smoke notes, dark fruits. Oats, bready. Medium lasting finish, roasty, dry, lingering bitterness. Quite tasty.

Stable medium cream-tan head, jet-black beer. Bit ashy nose, chocolate, dry-roasted malts. Very dry, slight stout acidity, overlying very thick, sweet malty roast with again an ashy vector. Quite well-bodied, chewy, viscous. Not half bad, but certainly not the best in its segment. Thanks to Stef!

330 ml can. Murky black with a creamy head. Lots of chocolate, coffee, caramel, a bit citrus, toffee, liquorice, metallic hops. Dry hoppy bitterness, chocolately sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bittersweet finish. Good.

Mein vorerst letztes Bier aus der Siren-Brauerei. Ein schönes, schweres Stout mit ordentich herben Dunkelschokoladenaromen gemischt mit ein paar feinen Gewürznoten nach Muskatnuss und Pfeffer, aber keine Frucht. Klassisch geben aber Kakao und Kaffeeröstaromen den Ton an. Es ist sehr intensiv und hat wirklich tolle Aromen. Wenn diese noch genauso toll zusammenspielen würden, hätte man ein perfekts Stout. So sehe ich es nur in der oberen Mittelklasse.
