330ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, short lived, light brown head that laces. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, molasses, oats and just a hint of smoke. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, molasses, dark chocolate, lactose, licorice and light smoke with a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Very nice. Easy drinking.

Etwas belanglos!

Cask, at Craft Beer Company, Covent Garden. As lovely as the first time but a little lesd rounded.4.1 to 3.9 (unknown)

Cask at Craft Beer Company, Clerkenwell. Didn't realise I'd had this beer twice already. Came across as rather gorgeous - hitting all the notes I would hope from a stout. 7.6 to 7.5. (31/10/25).

Hand-pulled half-pint on 7th Dec 2018; Woodin's Shades, London. Dark and rich, cream coloured crown. Chocolate, coffee and smooth. Fairly sweet throughout, a pleasant Stout for my sweet tooth to get stuck into.
