Shared bottle at La Cervecita Nuestra De Cada Dia with the 2016 RBESG guys. Deep amber body with a decent beige head. Malty, grainy (Rye?) nose and taste with caramel and toffee esters coming through from the start. There was a slight bitterness within the taste but this is ruled by malts and an alcohol depth. A bit heavy all round actually.

Bottle at Cervecita. Very dark amber with beige head. Thick rye, caramel, sweet grains and toffee, resin, Pune cones, dusty cardboard. Quite sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied. Nice but way too much for me.

50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of Sorachi Ace, bubblegum, coconut, oak, grass, caramel, alcohol, light fruity, light resin. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, light toast, grass, coconut, Sorachi Ace, resin, alcohol, bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. Nice.

50 cl bottle. Pours dark amber to brown with a huge tan head. Aroma is greasy hoppy. Toasted malty, bitter, dry fruity. Greasy hoppy. Toasted malty. Bitter and dry finish.

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 20 Feb 2016) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of orange peel, caramel and a touch of oak wood. Malty, spicy taste with orange peel, apricots, oak wood and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and quite interesting, with a surprising wood touch. Nice one.

From tap at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Hazy dark orange red color with beige head. Sweet malty and light hoppy aroma, caramel, herbal notes, light floral, light fruity. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
