Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. It’s strangely satisfying.

Bottle. Golden, clear color with a really big head. Just an average pale ale with an average aroma and taste.

Tap at Leids Bierfestival, Leiden: Hazy orange coloured brew with decent taste of citrus fruits and well bitter finish.

Rica

Bottle from Mitsuya’s. Golden orange color with a modest eggshell colored head. Light aromas of citrus and malts present. Light to medium light body with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Well-balanced but almost too much so. Quite a boring simple beer.

Bottle 355 ml from Coppers 8 till 8, Newcastle. Courtesy of JFK10000. Golden with white head. Light to medium citrus aroma and flavor, sweetish malty, light bodied. Bland. Really unpleasant surprise.
