Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. It’s strangely satisfying.

Przecietne piwo lekko metne z zapachem charakterystycznym dla amerykanckich chmielonych ale. Piany prawie nie bylo no moze na centymetr lub dwa. Lekkie w smaku i szybko sie wypilo. Ogolnie spodziewalem sie czegos bardziej zdecydowanego w smaku no i wyglad moglby byc lepszy.

Bottle, 12oz. It’s a clear, dark golden beer with an off-white head of moderate size. The aroma is quite floral at first, then pine cones and citrus peel kicks in, but not completely removing the floral, rose-like scents. Some spiced hints in the flavor, with roses, citrus peel and pine cones. Full body, quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. There’s a lasting bitterness in there as well. Not sure if I like the floral touch, but it’s a decent beer anyway. Quenching. 130821

4 oz. Sample @ Empire Brew Fest. Lightly cloudy amber with a cap of white head. Nose is refreshing citrus and some pale malt. Floral hops up front in the taste, quickly fading to a mild caramel sweetness, and finishing on more bready malt. Rather thin in body, fizzy carbonation. This is standard at best.

Half pint, tap at BrewDog, Leeds. Clear, copper-gold body, dissipating white head, good amount of lacing down the glass. Modest aroma of resin, farmyard and malty sweetness. Sweaty hops and lemon to the taste buds added by a touch of earthy malts. Fresh and smooth fruity ending, semi-dry. Standard pale ale, more or less (30.06.2013).

12oz bottle pours a clear orange with some creamy, clumpy white head. Aroma is incredibly mild, some citrus, some orange, a little malt, some white bread. Flavor is better, decent malt back bone, some orange, light honey, lemon. Watery finish.
