Tap @ Fairbar. Pours black with a small offwhite head. Aroma of hard roasted malt, coffee, rye, light hoppy. Taste is rather dry with hard roasted malts, licorice, caramel, coffee, rye. Medium body, soft carbonation, dry finish. 170312

Bottle @ Kolding Ølmesse, 2012. Pours dark ruby amber with a small creamy white head. Roast, fruit, rye and liquorice with a touch of butterscotch beneath. Medium bodied. 2nd poor @ C4, Odense. Served Ice Cold. Chocolate - milky, vague roast and a quite hoppy bitterness. Small layer of butter as it warms but not as intense as first time around.

At Kolding Ølmesse. Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of toffee, chocolate, coffee and licorice, with a good hoppy note. Sweetish dark malt flavour of licorice and roasted malt, and a slightly fruity note. Hoppy and bitter finish. Full bodied beer with intense but well balanced flavours
