Mild, bright and lightly hopped with a hint of Fraser Valley honey. It pairs up nicely with lighter seafoods and a thirst for adventure. Soft malt flavour with hints of honey, balanced with a light hop bitterness.

Can. A dark golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw and metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, metal, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry metallic finish where a note of honey appears.

Fits in with the Granville Island Brewery standard of quality, with some nice notes of different honey and citrus flavours, but they all seem just a little forced. It delivers the taste it promises, but not in a complex and finessed way. A basic pale lager with some honey notes, really.

Draught at the taproom
Deep blond color. It has a light hay aroma and breadish flavor, quite dry mouthfeel, reasonable bitterness. Poor.

Head that is not too big, but the lacing stays around for a bit. Caramely smell going for it. The beer is actually an amber colour, so it is not the palest of the pale. It tastes like caramel and has a rather watery finish. It is pretty sweet overall. This definately has more taste than your run of the mill pale lager and it actually quite drinkable and non-offensive.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden. Honey is evident in the aroma. Rather sweet and lightly grainy with clean, rounded mouthfeel and very low bitterness. I was highly sceptical to a honey lager, but it actually works.
