Bottle. A- Lemons, wheat. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Quite sweet, mildly sour, lemons, minimal spice. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth tart finish. O- A refreshing shandy, but the lemon tones are a little artificial tasting. Still not too shabby of a shandy.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small frothy off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is lemon zest and wheat. Thin mouthfeel with a strong citrus and lots of fizz like a soda with a nice lemon flavor. Easy to drink a decent fruit beer from Shock Top.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a huge foamy white head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was tart citrus and chalk. The flavor was tart, dry and chalky with faint lemon. Medium finish. Light body. Uninspired.

How could I have missed this in the past? Is it new? From a bottle, looks better than expected. Some sediment on bottom of bottle. Smell is somewhat musty. Looks like cloudy lemonade. Some artificial flavor int he background. Decent fine sharp fizz. Does not show much alky. Fer sure it is some sort of lemony thing happening. Somewhat dull finish. OK, so I smell a little more lemon in there now. Not bad but not nearly as good as that curious traveler I just had a few minutes ago.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy pale golden with small white head that dissapates quickly. Nice thin small bubble lacing, medium carbonation, thin body, and light lemon aroma. Taste is grainy wheat and lemon. OK for what it is.

Golden coloured body with a thinnish slightly off-white head. Aroma of pure lemons, unfinished sugars and a bit of yeast. Light-bodied; Airy, very acidic flavour with lemons obviously on the forefront, with some malt, wheat, coriander seed and funk on the end. Aftertaste is light and very very sweet - only some citric flavours cut the sweetness. Overall, not such a great beer - as expected, but if you wanted a sweet, slightly sour beer for the summertime, available at your local corner store around every city in this fine country and you have yourself an option. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle given to me after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia on 18-July-2012.
