Bottle @ home. Golden orange appearance with a white head. Sweet paler malty, creamy, citrusy hoppy aroma. Bitter, grassy, citrusy hoppy, bready, straw, pale malty flavor. Not all that smooth.

Bomber - pours a hazy gold, with a light ring of foam - the whole experience comes across like drinking an overly sweet double IPA in which the hops of gone dull and stale - kind of a sweet mess, with a bit of sulfuric character and vegetal notes - the alcohol, sweetness and limited hop character do a half-assed job of covering these flaws - some cooling mint flavor on the back end - an odd mess of a beer, but not entirely undrinkable.

12/02/06 Walk the Line Barleywine Festival, Dunedin, FL. 2005 vintage. Hazy orange color with tan head. Big aroma of sweet malts, dark fruitiness, and pine hops. Smooth flavor of caramel malt and soft pin hop flavor.
