This brew pours a clear orange color with a medium white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of berries and wheat. Light body with a mildly tart berry character and flavors of wheat and yeast. The finish is fruity and short with a bit of wheat left over. Just average overall.

Big bomber from 3 sons. Pour is somewhat hefe but there is very little haze, almost clear but not. Smell is perhaps a little fruity but moreso hefe like. Fairly mild hefe beer flavors make this easy to drink. But still very little if any blueberry in there. Probably would easily pass as a hefe. Some creamy CO2 in there. Now after the session is almost over I think I get a hint of blueberry in the background. Not bad overall. Hides the alky content rather well for a 5.5+%.

An amber ale with a thin off white head. A stong aroma of blueberry juice, butterscotch, not bad. In mouth, a lightish blueberry ale with malts balls and fruit jam. Run of the mill fruit beer. On tap at Tap and Mallet, July 30, 2010.

Pours deep amber into a Sam glass. White head with good retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Bread and cereal aromas. Sour blueberry muffin upfront turning to bitter seeds in the lasting finish.

Bomber from Oak Tree. Pours light amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is a sort of bready/yeasty (not spicey) blueberry. It’s pretty foamy. Flavor? Wheat. Blueberry? not that much. Still, it sort of works. Blueberry bitter sort of builds. Main point: On a summer evening it’s definitely drinkable. But I can’t hardly wait for the impy stout.

Weak aroma of stale malt. Hazy orange, headless. Tart malt flavor with a nondescript berry tang. Tastes exceedingly cheap with low grade ingredients. There are blueberries on the label, but none on the palate. It’s actually an embarassment to charge the prices I’ve seen for this. Kinda Blue? Kinda Eww.

22 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of a blueberry muffin... bready malts and sweet blueberry notes. The taste is very much the same... bready malts, fresh blueberries and a faint bitterness. Medium bodied. The fruit is present but not overbearing and nothing seems artificial. Overall a well made fruit beer.

Sampled on Draft at Johnny’s Wife’s Place in Jeannette PA this beer poured a dark orange-amber color with a medium sized beige head that lingered. The aroma was light vague tart berries. The flavor was tart and a touch vinegary with a vague berry presence, a touch of sweetness and some mild basic wheat beer undertones. The finish was medium length vague tart berry. Medium body. Ok.
