12oz can into Free State tulip/snifter glass. Sometimes a beer surprises you, in an enjoyable way. Pours with a loud white head that dies almost instantly leaving no trace behind. Color is thick red. Gets hazy. Aroma is tangerine toffee, chewy malts, fruity with not unappealing spices. I don't like spices usually. Its a fruity (tangerine), malty (thick fruit cake), and moderate spices. Flavor is similar and deliciously sweet without being sugary. Very much like a baked treat in a beer. It works well for me.

12 ounce can. Amber orange pour. Brief beige head. Fruity malt nose hints at fresh baked apple pie. Sweet toasted malt nose. Notes of cinnamon and allspice. Spices are a bit overdone. Warming alcohol as beer warms. Finish is bittersweet and sticky.

Can from my brother. way out of season. Dark amber, small soft head.Spicy, cinnamon roll, fruitcake aroma. Taste brings more sweetness, cinnamon, nutmeg. Perfect winter, holiday beer, out of place in June.
Nice. Would be better on a cooler evening. Perhaps a snowy eve.

Icy cold from a can. Heavy thick malty cinnamon aroma. Looks like iced tea with a thin alabaster head. First taste is big massive sweet cloying alky laced viscous brew with tons of cinnamon. Mind you, the cinnamon is not hot, its just more like heavily. I hope its not above the lethal human dose, heheh. Some co2 sizzles thru the spice. Yes, cloying at first then it gets a little more acceptable, perhaps the 7% is making my senses a little numb. I’m not much for spiced beer so take this rating with a grain of salt, or some grain alcohol. Not impressed with the spice. Long thick seasonal spice finish.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with red highlights and a small beige head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was semi-sweet cherry, nut and cola. The flavor was sweetish, tangy and malty with touches of nut, vague fruits, cinnamon and bread. The finish was medium length tangy, malty and nutty. Fairly full bodied. Ok.
