33cl Bottle from Burg Bieren. Deep amber-brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of crystal malt, some resin, caramel, light citrus, smells like a classic US IPA - sweet English Bitter cross. Flavour is a bit watery, malty, caramel, light metallic, hint of resin, light herbal, citrus, bitter finish. Medium bodied at best. Has potential, but is lacking a bit, mainly in the taste-department.

Clear ruby brown colour, good two fingers of thick frothy tan head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malts, dark fruits, caramel. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, dark fruits, toffee, spicy notes. Leading to a dry roasty bittersweet finish, spicy notes, medium body, creamy texture, prickly mouthfeel, soft carbonation, nice.

On tap at Winterbierfestival Enschede 2016. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, creamy, slowly diminishing, tan to white head. Sweetish, fruity-malty aroma of honey, mango and orange. Sweetish, fruity-resiny taste of mango, marmelade and pine, followed by a short, medium bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, flat. Okay.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, bottled on 24-5-14 batch 006, large sample, served in a tulip glass. Hazy amber to copper color, medium to large frothy long-lasting off-white head. Aroma is quite malty, toffee, some grapefruit, slight tropical fruit, hint of raisin. Soft to medium bitter in taste, bit sweetness, fruity, toffee. Some alcohol noticeable. Soft to medium carbonation, full bodied. Its too malty to be a true IPA. Still quite nice beer.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Opaque red brownish color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, old hops, overripe and dried fruits, fruit peel, bitter. Medium body, fizzy carbonation. Either totally past it’s prime (label says bottled May 24, 2014) or simply bad.
