Sampled at the Estes Park Winter Festival. Pours a cloudy orange, with some beige bubbles, but no head. The nose is butterscotch and toffee, with some resinous hops. Sweet at first, with a fair bit of hop bitterness coming forward. Light to medium body, lightly carbonated, malty, and clean. This is a reasonably nice maerzen, but a little overhopped.

Sampled at the brewery on October 9, 2012Cloudy copper to brown color, yellow head. Sweet, malty, fruity scent. Sweet, sugary, malt taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
