12oz bottle. Orange-tan color, certainly closer to an Amber ( as the bottle accurately describes it) than a Golden Ale. Soapy, patchy head. Relatively straightforward smooth caramel malt tones with a touch of amber underneath. Has some similarities to a Cream Ale at times with its creamy orange-vanilla aroma and flavor. Not much hop presence, which works well in this case. Not exactly world-class, but certainly smooth session Ale.

draft at the brewpub - Somewhere I was reading at the time, must have been the menu description, said this was an "amber". Odd. That’s certainly not what I’d call it. It pours fairly clear gold and has a very mild grainy malt aroma. It’s a sweet, light bodied brew that’s too watery and while drinkable, lacking in flavor.

Slightly hazy medium orange with a small, fleeting off-white head. Fresh pleasant fruity malt aroma. Slightly sweet but no real strong flavor players here. Thin and watery, but an inoffensive, easy drinking beer.
