very malty, quite satisfying. palate is nice and full, very well balanced betwee the hops and malt, quality stuff!

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di orzo tostato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Poche bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è normale, con durata sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sulla lingua si attestano indizi di caramello, miele, cereali, nocciole tostate, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico, erba e agrumi.

Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, light fruit, floral hops. Flavour is moderaete malty sweetness with some bitterness in the finish. An okay English Bitter.

Аромат немного неприятен. Он чересчур резкий и терпкий. Пена оседает мгновенно, цвет Слабо янтарный. Вкус средней горькости, остается легкий осадок на языке. Чувствуется терпкая карамель и яркий вкус солода. Послевкусие очень короткое с пряным оттенком трав. В целом неплохо.

Fuller's London Pride, 4,7 %, Flasche von Grabsch, Lichterfelde. - Rotgold, blank; kaum Schaum. - In der Nase verhaltenes toastig-karamelliges Malz, leise, leicht süßliche Orangenschale und feine englische Hopfung, abgerundet mit der Fuller's-typischen, eher an ein Düsseldorfer Altbier als an ein belgisches Ale erinnernden obergärigen Fruchtigkeit. - Antrunk schlank und sauber gerstig toastmalzig mit feinen Röstaromen, die in beträchtliche röstmalzige und erdig-hopfenwürzige Bittere übergehen, begleitet von leiser obergäriger Frucht. Durchschnittlich rezent, schlank, etwas hart im Mund. Im Abgang beträchtliche Bittere; entsprechend längerer Nachtrunk. - Gediegenes Amber Ale mit sehr solider englischer Hopfung; weit robuster als ich es in Erinnerung hatte (2012 bemängelte ich nur, daß es nicht an das kräftigere 1845 heranreicht). Klar golden med høy, boblete hvit topp som daler sakte. Aroma; Karamell, malt, humle, honning, overmoden banan. Smak; Banan, karamell, lynghonning, humle, noe krydder, hint av lime-skall. Overaskende myk i munnfølelse. Balansert og med en varende ettersmak. Smakfull men ikke intens. Godt øl. Gave fra Djoeye.

Pours to a dark amber with a fine porous head. Nice nose, caramel, some banana notes, spice, almost like a Belgian ale. Very fine carbonation. This is a nice drinking beer, not a flavour bomb but a flavourful and very drinkable ale without runaway esters. Medium sweetness, hit of caramel upfront in the mouth. Well rounded. Nice lingering medium bitterness.
