Bottle at home. It poured well, with a good head. There was no real nose and the taste was some malt, bitter hops and an inoffensive mouthfeel. It was ok, but there was not much going on at all. Dare I say a bit bland?

Clear amber bitter, lively with a thick white head. Not much by way of aroma, good or bad. Just a light bitterness. Flavour has a bit of light malt, apple, some bitter hop. Quite a clean aftertaste. A bit of fruity hop. Nothing special but a crisp, refreshing bitter.

From cask at the Old Mariner, Woodbridge. Pours golden with a lasting bubbly white head. Aroma of light hop, floral and fruity notes. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, slight sticky texture. A nice session bitter, especially served straight from cask.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - a mixture of floral, lemon and honey. Light fudge in fact. Taste - more of the same. Lemon early doors with the fudge closing it out. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - interesting bitter but more interesting than good.

Cask at The Four Ashes, Takeley. Pours orange with very small white head. Malt, caramel, light fruitness. Bitterish finish. Decent.
