#20 bottle at Camp Beer IX. Pours a clear copper with a small white head. The aroma is floral hop pine and grapefruit. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and smoke. Lingering bitter finish, a decent IPA from SKA.

Bomber pours a nice clear copper with tan head and some spotty lacing. The modest aroma offers up spicy hops, a light citrus sense and faint earthy to soapy notes. I’m liking this flavor though. I get a good deal of rich near chewy spicy hoppiness that rolls right up from flavor to a moderate amount of resiny hop bitterness. Around the spicy hop notes are pleasing levels of earthy hops, grassiness and thin rings of bitter grapefruit. Darn nice stuff.

Bottle @ home. Dark amber orange appearance with a big orangish-tan head. Fresh piney, grapefruity, orange citrusy, organic, flavorful hoppy nose. Fresh, grapefruity, citrusy, moderately piney hoppy, sweet pale malty flavor. Actually a pretty tasty, fresh hoppy IPA.

Does this beer really need to have two entries? - has the recipe changed since #11? - anyway - super-filtered, crystal clear copper beer - thin film of lace - fairly inviting fresh hop nose - grassy, herbal, spicy, earthy - a touch of fruity sweetness underneath it - kind of thin flavor up front - lean malts and a bit of fruitiness - however, the hops are quite green, peppery, and fresh - they eventually become all you can taste, becoming spicy in the finish - even a bit brisk, herbal, and minty at the end - not too bad, just lacking any stand out characteristics.
