750 c&c from LetsPour.com. Pours very hazy orange amber with a off-white head. Aroma is caramel with some rather pungent dark fruit. Full bodied or nearly so. Flavor is smooth dark caramel with moderately dark fruit - it is much closer to dry than sweet. For some reason it seems a little boozy. Think I’m picking up a very little metallic aspect. Overall a nice drink.

Sampled from bottle at Rackhouse Pub, Denver CO, on October 10, 2012, during the event Colorado Rare Beer TastingCloudy orange color, white head. Banana, sweet taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Phenolic scent.

Turbid reddish pour - pretty fizzy, but doesn’t kick up too much of a head - aroma has some odd meaty/smoky phenols, yeasty/doughy character, very mild esters - flavor is slightly nutty, with quite a bit of the same smoke/meatiness from the nose - light acidity - nothing all that dubbelish about it, but I guess it isn’t terrible.

Bottle courtesy of Brandon. Thanks! Dark red orange appearance with an off white head. Toasty, caramel-toffee, a touch roasty-burnt, slightly belgian aroma. Slightly burnt-toasty, toffee, mild caramel malty, slightly belgian flavor. I’m pretty disappointed.
