Our lightest ale, a shade of the hair of the dog for which it is named. This lightly hopped beer will have you ordering another.

Tap @ Vine Street pub, Denver. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, straw, grass, light lemon. Taste is sweet malty and rather weak with grass, straw, light citrussly hops. Light bodied, lively carbonation. Not bad at all, easy going and calls for another when finished. 260212

Tap at Vine Street - somewhat british in its bread yeast profile and fairly american in its hop profile - not a hell of a lot going on, especially for this brewer - some lemon character, a lot of yeast - moderate to high acidity for the style - creamy mouthfeel - kind of a liquid sourdough bread thing going on - drinkable but forgettable.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear golden color with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Thin strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet honey and malt. Light body with flavors of mild hops and sweet malt along with a touch of honey. The finish is lightly hopped with a short fruity aftertaste. Average overall.

tap at Mountain Sun - Pours yellow-orange with a white head. It smells of bready malt with some light, fruity esters. It tastes of sweet bready malt and a touch of citrus along with mild hops. Pretty good.

An unclear dark orange beer with a fine but collapsing white head. The aroma contains notes of citrus, oranges, and yeast. The flavor slightly roasted with notes of oranges and spices, leading to a dry hoppy end.
