Location: Draft at Union Square location, 3/23/12

Aroma: The nose is pretty big on Belgian yeast, with notes of fruit, spice, and some lingering sweetness
Appearance: Pours a mostly clear gold-orange color with a white head and medium lacing on the glass
Flavor: Tastes heavy on yeast, with quite a bit fruity of fruity sweetness, and a little spice hop for balance
Palate: The body is lightish, but for the style it is more full, soft carbonation, with a slightly sticky finish
Overall Impression: I was not expecting too much from a Heartland Blonde, but this one pleasantly surprised me. It certainly went well beyond my expectations considering the brewery and the style. I could session this one for sure.
