Bottle. Pours black with brown head. Nose and taste of molasses, roast coffee, roast chocolate, toasted black malt and vanilla bean. Medium body.

Bottle at the restaurant with dinner friday. pours black with nice purplish head. nose of chocolate and hops. tastes of chocolate, coffee, pine hops, roasted malts, light pepper spicing. yum

Bottle at the brewpub, on January 28, 2012Very dark brown to black color, dense dark brown head. Salty, roasted, alcohol scent. Salty, sweet, chocolate, roasted taste. Alcohol and roasted aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.Very nice! Probably my favourite from the night at this brewery.
