Classic heavy bittersweet ‘Imperial Stout’ with a touch of ‘Rooibos’, 11% vol.
Sans Pardon is one of the toughest full malt beers from the brewery. Black as the night, with a creamy head. The high alcohol content complements the coffee and chocolate aspects in the beer. The ‘Rooibos’ gives the beer that extra touch of fruitiness. Sans Pardon the tastiest.

Bottle at De Zwaan Maastricht Black beer lasting tan head. Big intense aroma. Dark chocolate nad a little coffee. Some esters. I mean that's really good. Smooth creamy. Dark chocolate great flavour. Never gets the paper finish. I mean it is good. Some light blackcurrant flavour. Top notch. Not overly complex but it delivers an impy stout really well. Very likeable if not overly complex.

Dark black, with a tall light brown head that lasts surprisingly well. Sweet, rich chocolate nose with citrus hints. Massive flavor, black malt and chocolate, velvety smooth and pretty sweet. Like a drinkable dessert! A bit of alcoholic hotness but not much considering 11%. A wee bit more bitterness would balance it better, but it's really tasty as is. Dangerously good.

On tap at Billie's. Pours black with a beige head. Some chocolate and roasted malts on the nose. Flavour has a rich roasted malt, burnt dark chocolate character, and excess sugars. Nice mouthfeel. Could be less sweet.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, milk chocolate, some liquorice, dried dark fruits, raisins, notes of coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with some roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is above medium. A very Belgian take on the Imperial Stout.

Bottle, 11%. The aroma is not very powerful considering the ABV. First milk chocolate, and then some raw liquorice. Black colour. Good creamy light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a faint touch of fruit and jam. Then comes coffee and finally raw liquorice with a hint of salt. Oily mouthfeel but prickly carbonation.

Bottle. Color: Black, mocha head. Aroma: Tart forest fruit, some roasted malt. Taste: Complex mix of red wine, forest fruit, leather, some roasted malt and chocolate. Light tartness, very light bitterness and light sweetness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Dry-ish bittery and fruity, roasted malt finish. Nice.
