Hornig är nr. 8 i serien och bryggd med glimten i ögat, klassisk nobelhumle Saaz och en massa malt. En makalöst läcker bock om jag får säga det själv.

Draught@GFW68, Stockholm. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, rye, some mild syrup as well as wood and mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is fruits, wood, alcohol, nectar as well as some mild ryelike notes. Very balanced and pleasant.

(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm, 11 June 2010) Pale copper colour with frothy, white head. Malty, grainy nose with cereal, dried fruit, apricots and toffee. Malty taste with notes of grainy malt, cereal, toffee and dried apricots. More than medium body, quite sweet, medium bitterness. Nice and tasty beer with focus on a fairly heavy malt profile.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm. Clear pale amber, small creamy head. Buttery malt dominates this. Sweet with dense, well rounded mouthfeel and solid body. Light grassh hops and a tingle of warming alcohol. Tremendously well made bock.

Draught at Haket, Göteborg, on May 21, 2010Clear deep golden color, with red copper streaks to it. White lasting head. Dominating butterscotch taste, almost overpowering. I have a hard time believing that it is intentional in a "Majbock". I like it though, but after half a glass becomes a bit too much. Taste is also hoppy, sweet and smooth. Red berries sweet aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium a bit dry mineral like bitterness. Butterscotch and red berry scent.I like it at first, but after half a glass or so not so much.Initial rating on first imprssions: 7/4/7/4/15=15On a more drinkability and would I get it again note rating: 6/4/5/4/11=3.0

From tap at OConners, Uppsala. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, hoppy and slight yeasty. Sweet honey flavoured. Light fruity note. Subdued bitterness. Lasting sweet impression into the finish.
