This premium lager brand was initially launched in 1987 and rebooted in 2019. Currently brewed in all three brewing units, Dansberg Blue is primarily sold in the North-Eastern states of Sikkim, Orissa, Assam, and now available to consumers in Puducherry in the south of India.

65 cl bottle thanks to omhper! On July 18, 2009As "Dansberg Blue Premium Lager Beer"BB Sep 09 (or 08?)Slight hazy yellow color, small white head, Sweet, honey, vegetable, garbage, cardboard scent. Acidic, sort of sweet, vegetable taste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottled 650ml (PBF, brewed 2008, courtesy of ohmper). Pale yellow color, small white head, Interesting aroma: mix of instant coffee and lemon ... pale lager... Lots of cardboard, some papery hops, dry maltyness (rice?). Light palate. Not as bad as it sounds.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is grains, rubber, cardboard and some skunked notes. Flavour is rubber, grains and some cardboard. Earthy.

Bottled in Kolkata, West Bengal. Yellow colour, rich head. Fruity nose. Sweet and light bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Mellow and void of off flavours. No traces of hops, but rice seem evident. Finishes with a certain pepperiness, but without bitterness.
