Bottle 50 cl. Pours a very dark brown - close to black - with an orange hue and a small off-white head. A pruney aroma, no real roastiness. Medium body, sweet dark fruits and a little licorice. A yeasty and not entirely pleasant edge. 280511

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm) Very dark brown colour, almost black, with brief frothy pale brown head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of coffee, dark rye bread, ashes, dark chocolate and hints of dark berries. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, coffee, dark bread, ashes and some cocoa bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Compared to the cask version it’s less fruit and more ashes. Nice and tasty porter.
