Draught@SBWF2013. Aroma is bananas, some fruity and floral hops with a big time yeastiness as well. Mild notes of honey to it as well. Flavour is floral, fruity, nectary, honeyish and has some alcohol and mild nutty and yeasty notes to it as well. Good, apart from the yeastiness.

Tap @ Monk’s, Wallingatan. Deep amber, lasting white head. Rosebud, floral, sweet aroma. Herbal, spicy, malty flavored. Sticky, full bodied. Very sweet indeed.

Draught at SBWF. Hazy copper colour, small head. Aroma of marzipan and grass. Soft and caramelly, mid sweet with full body. Some pepper and sugar in a warming finish with low bitterness.

Thx! for the glass. Draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft during Zwanze Day shenanigans. Dark brown ruby appearance with some lambic-styled bubbles on the sides. Smell is huge candy sugar, thick caramel, toffee, sweet orange peel, sticky sweet spices. Taste is very sweet caramel malts, sticky orange peel, some marmalade, brown sugar, liquid candy sugar, peaches, concentrated compote, sweet herbs, caramel,… Sweetness covers the alcohol, no inkling of the high ABV. Oily, smooth, pretty much flat, easy to drink. Pretty nice, apparently this was nicer & better fresh. Very different & a bigger difference than I expected with “Cuvee de Mortagne”.

Draught at Delirium Brussels. Dark orange-brown, about flat. Spicy, malty nose, stewed pears, spices. Sweet, thick flavor, luscious pears, peaches, oranges. Spicy, peppery hops. Syrupy but balanced. Very good.

Opaque dark brown beer. Decent pale tan head. Soft airy palate with mild fine carbonation. Toffee in the head and also the beer. Sweet coca cola under a little orange. Warming spice and alcohol. Sweet caramel. Hides the abv rather well. Nice.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy murky reddish color, full sized beige head that lasts for quite awhile. Smell slightly malty, lightly sweet and lightly alcohol. Taste malts, lightly sweet, alcohol, slightly caramel. Sweetness, alcohol and some caramel lingures in the aftertaste. Full body, medium carbo.

Bottle thx to benzai. Murky dark brown colour, huge beige head. Smells like spicy food, pizza. Tastes very sweet, malty, liquorice wood, heavy and some alcohol. Full body, low carbo.
