33 cl. bottle poured in to a Tulip. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a big, fluffy white head. Fruity aroma with yeasts, spices, sweet fruits - apricot, oranges, some almond - orange marmalade. Rich malts. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a lively carbonation and a creamy texture. A good mouth feel for a Tripel. Finishes slightly drying with sweet fruits, yeasts and spices. Light toasted notes and a very discrete hint of alcohol. Very enjoyable Tripel.

At a private tasting in Belgrade/Serbia. Huge thanks to markoijelena. Pours clear golden with a white frothy head (bubbles). Nose: flowers, lemon, veggie, spices. Mouth: refreshing feel, sweet palate, rose extract. Nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dieses Bier hat sogar einen Wikipedia-Artikel, allerdings nur auf Flämisch. Aber das ist ja nicht soweit weg von Deutschen und man kann einige Infos leicht erhaschen. Zeezuiper heißt Seeigel und so heißt ein altes Naturschutzgebiet in der Nähe der Brauerei. Bis 2008 hieß es noch De Zeezuiper. Auf dem Etikett sieht man zwei liebevoll gestaltete Comic-Höhlenmenschen (niederl.: wildemannen), wobei einem eine Krabbe in die Zehe zwickt. Geschmacklich ist es ein durchaus feines Tripel mit schönen Gewürzaromen und einem Kern wie Keksteig. Dazu einige fruchtige Aromen nach dem klassischen Rumtopf, untermalt vom Alkohol, der aber nicht penetrant wird. Ein nettes Bier mit einer netten Geschichte.

Tasted years ago when this brewery was still in the Netherlands and more recently after its relocation to Belgium; this beer does not seem to have changed very much. Off-white, moussy, stable head, colour misty peach blonde, strong fruity aroma, spices too, hints of orange, pear, vanilla, gin, coriander, banana, ginger, honey, cardamom. Fruity taste with some curaçao freshness, medium carbonation, spicy notes, sweetish malts (caramel, honey), finishing in a floral hoppiness but, both in the old and the new version, primarily a wodka- or gin-like, bit wry, long-stretching and - at least to my personal taste - disturbing alcohol.

Golden colour,white foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of sweet malts with fruity notes (citrus, banana, apricot). Light bitter finish. Good tripel.

Bottle. Yeasty apple/lemon and barley malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with small head. Sweet lemon-orange malt, yeast, and light alcohol flavor. Nice body. Pretty good.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig süß, alkoholisch, Nüsse, Früchte. Geschmack sehr süß malzig, dunkle Früchte, hefig, leicht alkoholisch.

0,33L bottle, BB 06.2014. Pours golden with floating yeast and nice white head. The head stays. Aroma is very sweet, some sweet fruits, maybe some mango, and yeast. Taste is sweet, soapy, sour, and light bitterness. Alcohol is really well hidden, feels really light. Finish is long lighter bitter. Overall: different take of the tripel, less bitter, lighter and soapier tap. Feels really fresh, bump!
