Don’t ever call a Roman Lager just another Pilsner beer. Because this mild and pleasant thirst-quencher has a fruity nose. The mildly malty attack transitions into a slightly bitter finish. We have been brewing this beer in our coppers since 1945.

Bottled (BB 08/2008)
Clear golden color, small white head. Plastic, rubbery aroma - not much hops found .. for pils. Sweet malty, standard lager with light cheap papery hops.

Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is grainy, grassy and hoppy. Flavour is very much the same, quite typical bulkish lager.

Draught Good, collapsing snow-white head, leaving lace; pale gold beer. Slight bitterish-hoppy nose, with pale malt background. Bitterish pilsner, fine hoppiness, better than most industrial pilsners, bitterish on the foreground, backed by pale malts. Light MF, bitterish aftertaste. As said, better than average, nowhere exciting.
