Don’t ever call a Roman Lager just another Pilsner beer. Because this mild and pleasant thirst-quencher has a fruity nose. The mildly malty attack transitions into a slightly bitter finish. We have been brewing this beer in our coppers since 1945.

Quite bitter, really nice pilsener. Was a pleasant surprise!

Bottle @ Benzai. This is quite a decent and regular pilsener. It’s a little bit less of a quality then some other pilseners i know. Don’t drink this one unless it’s for the tick, there are many better pilseners.

Bottle @ home, shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Light yellow / golden color, almost no head. Smell almost nothing. Taste almost nothing as well, just a bit malty. Weak, boring pilsener. Low carbo, low body.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass and hops. Nice and bitter - more like a bohemian pilsner to me.

On tap at Paradise festival Brussels. Pale gold, thick lasting ivory head. cardboard on aroma. No real flavour. No real hop or anything on finish. Vague wet lemon scented cardboard. Best thing about it was that it was cold. 1.8. re rate Volks Cafe St Jakobs. Clear gild. some lemon lager aroma. fine in mouth some decent bitterness on the finish. some lasting lemon. I mean it's a pale lager. won't set world alight.

Bottle: Pale yellow, small, slowly collapsing loose white head; light grainy to cardboardy nose with a faint grassy-hoppy touch; light sweetish-bitter flavour; sweetish-grainy - maybe a bit corny - finish with a light bitter aftertaste. Even though it doesn’t contain a lot of hops, a pretty soporific.........
