Sample @ Gents bierfestival 2015. Hazy amber colour, medium carbonation. Sweet nose of tropical fruit. Nice aroma, weak mouthfeel, bit thin and watery but refreshing and easy drinkable. Sweet with notes of caramel. Not the best IPA but ok.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled bottled @ Gents Bierfestival 2015. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is herbal, orange, zest, hay. Taste is a bit buttery, orange zest, sugar, hay, grass, malty, tad too sweet & touch too buttery. Decent for sure still. A bit fizzy.

This was poured into a nonic.
The appearance was a light hazy burnt to semi-transparent bronzed orange color. Bubbles stick to the sides of the glass. A one finger white foamy head dissipated fairly quickly. Messy and clingy lacing wove its way around the glass.
The smell started off with some dry pine shaping itself around some light citrus tones.
The taste copied the smell and added in some light malty and orange coated bitter hops. A dry citrus aftertaste and a quick little bite of a citrusy/piney finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable feel about it. Carbonation feels right for an AIPA. Bitterness really hits like an AIPA - pummels nicely.
Overall, this was a nice AIPA that I would have again.

355ml bottle from Beer Me Up Scotty, Shrewsbury Market Hall. The penultimate surprise bottle at the July Shrewsbury Bottle Share @ Chez Sophie. Pulled out of the fridge by me. Pours hazy gold. Pine aroma. Hoppy & fruity with a decent dose of orange resin bitterness. My memory is pretty hazy at this point, but I seem to remember it being a good example of an American IPA.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, dark gold. Thin, clingy, white head. Stewed fruit, oily hop aroma. Lots of orange. Taste is stewed hop bitter. Some astringency. Prickly carbonation. Finishes long, oily bitter. One dimensional.
