Zen is a limited release from our Haiku Project of Hazy IPAs. We've used a combination of three hops from the US and NZ including a new NZ hop which doesn't yet have an official name, but gives distinct passionfruit aroma and flavour. Zen is a NEIPA that is full of tropical hops and with a low bitterness it goes down so easy, one is not quite enough!

From a 440ml can on 1/1/2020 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a hazy medium golden with a medium head. Has a typical fruity, spicy aroma. The taste is sweet tropical and stone fruit, with mild spice. Has a soft mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. All up, it's a relatively pleasant line and length hazy.

440ml can at. The Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big malt, yeasty biscuit dough, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a fresh, crisp, malty, toffee, juicy citrus fruit, light dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at 16 Tun. Pours hazy orange yellow. Peach, orange, melon, bit watery, touch of tropical fruit. Ok body. Not up to the standard of the last one in the series.
