Lambic is one of the world's oldest beers. According to some, it is also the best, even if its characteristic acidity does not please all palates. To offset this acidity, some decided to add sugar to it. Thus Faro Lambic was born. Adding sugar syrup to lambic was a revelation at the time of Bruegel. Until the 19th century, Faro Lambic was very prevalent in the Brussels region. Folklore there was frequently associated with it, and the divine liquid flowed like water. Then Faro Lambic fell into oblivion. It was not until 1978 that our family brought it back to centre stage. Or centre Senne, as you prefer. Particularly appreciated after physical exertion, Faro Lambic is not only easy to drink, it is a joy to do so.

0.25l Bottle in Munich. Little head, orange amber color. Subtle citrus sweet-sour aroma. Taste is a perfectly balanced mix of Candi sugar sweetness and acidity from the lambic fermentation. Flavors of citrus and stone fruits over a fine carbonation, despite having no fruit in it. The oak adds character. Pairs very well with salmon ;-)

Smell - quite strong, some fruits, sweetness, candy. Foam - some bitterness, lot of sourness, quite soft, medium thick, not creamy. Taste - generally sweet sour, some carbonation, me as not fan of sour beers did not enjoy it at all, some fruit notes help, but cant save it.

bottle from svenskabaren. dark orange, smooth white head. aroma is of sweetened lambic, salad dressing (vinager) some leather. aroma hints of a good lambic, leather notes, dry notes. flavor is lambic, sugar, leather, quite simple, like a friut lambic with no fruit in it, but still sweetened. a very good faro

330mm. bottle. Tasted on the 21/06/2018 at "Singulario". Clear copper colour with a mid sized head. Aroma is raisin, plum, candy sugar and copper. Taste is intense raisin, caramel and brown sugar. Dry and sugary finish. Slightly Lambic sour. Oxidized. Next one please!
