Our Pale Ale recipe though higher in ABV than your classic English pale ale was designed thinking of it. Once was the most famous style of beer in the UK during the Victorian era also known as the "bitter".

Medium body, malty sweetness of dark toasted Bread. Earthy Hop flavor brought by the noble UK hops. Medium Dark Chocolate bitterness with a biscuity & grapefruit aroma copper color. Medium Carbonation.

Sadly there seemed something wrong with this one, lightly sour, a touch of an infection I think.

--Sample, thanks AndySnow! -- Clear pale amber small head. Mushroomy caramel aroma. Sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy unfirm malt, dusty mushrooms. Mildly resinous mid bitter finish.

Pours golden with a thick white head. Aroma of malt. Taste has more maltiness, some oddly herbal hops, some oiliness. Palate has some mild bitterness, citrus, odd interaction with hop oils and the malt base. Interesting.

Bottle, 330 ml at Corner's pub, Amman. Pours golden with white head. Malty, some light hopiness, sweetish, moderate bitterness in finish. Light to medium bodied.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Clear deep golden. Oxidation, cardboard, vegetables, sweetish, some malt, bitter finish, a bit of diacetyl.

Bottle: Poured a coppery with white head. Aroma is sweet sticky malt. Really sweet in the tongue and mellows towards end.
