Draft of 2016 version: Poured an orange with tan. Aroma is hoppy malty. Taste is malty with some back-end heat.

Keg at Dispensary, CPH, 10/11/17. Rich amber with a well appointed light beige cap. Nose is woody, sweet fruits, caramel, figs, earthy, nutty. Taste comprises fruit cake, pinch of snuff, figgy jam, caramel, wood tinged, light spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a warming alcohol rise. Solid barley wine ... a nice little sipper!

On tap at the brewery Bermondsey. Hazy mid red brown colour lasting beige head. Malty toffee aroma. Yes it?s clearly had time to settle down. Shows some ageing. Sweet alcoholic but a decent barley wine in the true strong barley wine tradition. Pretty authentic i liked it some definite hop on the finish akes it more of an american style barley wine.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small tan hesd. Aroma is roasted malty, caramelish. Overripe fruity. Lingering dark malty. Roasted and caramelish dense finish.

Tap @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt, burnt sugar and hops. Sweet and full bodied.
