Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Black with a small tan head. Sweet with light roasted malt, berries, raisin, light caramel and notes of oak. Actually a bit hard to describe. Not as roasted as expected, neither as thick. The finish was dry and quite bitter.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Stas’s place. As "Black Albert A2 SC2 Club". Black with a big brown head. Aroma of roast, cocoa, dark chocolate, wood, vanilla and a coconut note. Sweet flavor with chocolate, caramel, roast, dark fruits, vanilla, a coconut note and a bit of rum. Full-bodied. Great. Grew on me on more and more as I kept drinking. Also quite easy to drink for a 13% Imperial Stout.

750 ml bottle. Pours black with fine tan head. Aromas of sweet molasses, licorice and roasted malts. Flavours are similar with additional dark chocolate and coffee. Relatively light in flavor for a Damnation. ABV is spectacularly well hidden although there is some residual warmth.

Sample @ home
Aroma is mellow and sweet with toasted sugar, some roasted notes and hints of salty licorice. Flavour is sweet with toasted sugar, some licorice and semi-dark chocolate. Very sweet and surprisingly low on roastiness; an IS with a feeling of dark Belgian strong.

750ml bottle @ ISKTR 2014

Pours pitch black with a tiny head. Aroma of roasty malts, wood, stingy rhum notes, hints of fruits. Taste is sweet, syrupy and boozy with notes of wood, hints of rhum, peaches and cocoa. Finish is sweet, roasty and slightly boozy with notes of rhum. Quite interesting, but not the best of the series.
