Can at home Pours clear amber, good white head . Smell is bitter, caramel malts . Silky mouthfeel . Taste is bitter, bit hoparoma, nice , intense enough yet elegant maltyness ( typical amber maltyness ) Perfect carbonation. Bitter in the back . Very nice, very balanced . Grainy aftertaste .

Can @ Kafe Belgie, small sample. Slight hazy amber color, short head. Aroma is slight caramelly, bit malty, some grapefruity hops. Soft bitter in taste, slight sweetness. Quite typical american amber ale I think. Good stuff.

Can. Clear amber with small white head. Sweet malts, some nuts and dried fruits, caramel, raisins. Good kick of apricots with a hint of pine. Light sweetness that quickly morphed into a dry bitterness that lasts into the finish. Medium bodied with slightly low carbonation. Decent stuff.

Clear amber colour. Quite a malty aroma with some caramel. Not particularly strong in flavour but the balance is good. Makes for a good session beer.

Can from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear amber colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is toffee caramel resin hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a big hop citrus bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Can’t quite believe the aroma to be honest. An amazing beer for me. Need to drink this more often.

12 oz can from a recently imported batch of Caldera (& other Oregon) beers. Clear amber color. Unevern off white head. Aroma’s of caramel malts, red fruit and light hoppiness. Hoppiness a bit more pronounced retronasal. Flavor is light bitter with some fruity sweetness. Light bodied. Slightly dry, moderate bitter finish. Decent.

Burk@Bishops Arms.
