355ml can @home. Poured amber in color with a deep, thick white head. Really nice malty, caramlley, fudgy aroma, some biscuits. Flavor has caramel, malt, hops and dried fruits. Long caramelly finish. Pleasant, although body could be much fuller. Thinnish.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 25 Feb 2015) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of roasted grain, orange peel and toast. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, orange peel, caramel, toast and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

American amber ale apparently named after a city in Oregon. From a 35,5 cl can, this is one of those craft breweries which come in elaborately decorated cans nowadays - which isn’t even such a bad idea, given the complete protection from light (beer’s worst enemy) and it being a lot less brittle than glassware. Anyway: misty orange blonde beer under a creamy, medium thick, irregular, slightly yellowish white head leaving good lacing. Refreshing aroma of orange peel, pink grapefruit, red onion, celery (pretty strong even!), fresh tomato soup with meat balls (no kidding!), cooked green beans, papaja, persimmon, honey, overripe apricot, white bread, peanuts. Taste begins fairly neutral, dried fruits and a hint of orange zest, minerally, medium carbonation, nutty, bit metallic in the middle, sourish hint, finishing in an ’American’ hop bitterness involving pepper and citrus, long, leafy and drying the throat, ensuring an utterly quenching effect. Easy going but well-balanced and hoppy enough to qualify almost as an APA, this is a refreshing yet characterful beer I could drink for hours on a summer afternoon. Nice.

Bottle from trade with Douberd, many thanks Christos. Amber colored with medium off-white head. Nice citrus hoppy aroma complemented with nice maltiness. Solid malty base followed by nice citrus hoppy bitterness with grapefruit, pines, resin, some fruitiness. Long hoppy bitter finish. Enjoyable beer.

Taste is bitter orange peel, sweet caramel base, citrus, pine malt. Tad malty body; Enjoyable enough for sure. /////// 355 ml. can @ home. Purchased at Caigny. Date is impossible to read. Drank straight from the can. Nose is grass, floral hops & light grain alcohol, touch stale beer. Taste is overripe peach, bitter orange peel, caramel & candy sugar sweetness, touch stale boozy beer, lots of overripe peach, light pine resin,.... Oily very easy to drink. Pleasant easy to drink, simple & efficient beer. Score 3.8 -> 4.1

Can @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy orange - copper color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, decently malty, not much more. Taste malts, again quite nicely hoppy, slightly fruity, lightly bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Nice.

Reviewed from notes.
Thanks Gwen.
The appearance was a slight clear amber color with a slight transparency about it. One finger white foamy head dissipated within less than about forty seconds. Light lacing trickles into its body.
The smell was a sweet caramel malt with a slight crisp citrus hops underneath.
The taste was balanced between the sweet malts and the bitter citrus hops.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a slight sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed decent for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a decent Amber ale I could go at again.
