Inspired by Electric Avenue, the beating heart of Brixton, our lively IPA is an assault on the senses – much like its namesake. This beer is all about the interplay between malt and hop – the perfect harmony of sweet and bitter. Electric is assertive but perfectly balanced with a solid backbone that rolls into a lingering hoppy finish.

Bottle from Sourced Market at St Pancras, BB 31/03/2015, large sample. Clear golden to orange color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, flowery, bit cardboard malts. Medium bitterness, bit harsh. Citrussy bitterness lingers on in the palate. Ok-ish.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney and minimally citrusy hoppy aroma, some pineapple, a touch of grapefruit. Taste is primarily sweet-ish caramel malty, bitter hoppy background has a medicinal touch, Aspirin, not the kind of bitterness you look for in an IPA. Below average.

Flaske delt på RBHD-samlinga hos Asle Bjørn: en ekkel og ufrisk aroma. Smaker emment. Et bevis på at et pent utseende ikke alltid er nok. Over bordkanten med den.

Hazy and greyish yellow, with floating sediment. Dense, residing off-white head. Aroma of burned print cards and pine needles. Sweetness, pine and unfreshness in taste.
