This malty, smooth maple cream ale has a hint of maple syrup, with a mild hop bitterness. It’s a tribute to both Quebec’s legendary sugar shacks, and the tin roofs that littered this island back in the day. Big saps welcome. Get Under the Bridge. Tastes of caramel malt with light hop bitterness, balances the malt flavours with hints of maple without being sweet.

clear amber pour, small white head. aroma of cheap grins, and cereals, and some very sweet, bready malts. the maple is nowhere to be found. i think its just adding color. the finish is cloyingly sweet, and really nothing else.

It pours some color in between honey and scotch, with a short-lived, off-white head. Aroma is caramel, maple syrup, roasted butter, waffle. Mouthfeel is light and soft, no bitterness.

Draft pour schooner at the brewery. Pours a light clear copper color with a thin fizz head. Caramel malt, maple, brown sugar like aroma and flavor. Grainy, cereal notes. Reminded me of the maple mini what’s cereal, which was a fun flashback to my childhood. Not overly sweet. The finish is a little on the bitter side which surprised me. Not quite as refreshing as I expected either. Wasn’t bad.

341 ml bottle. Pours a clear, nut brown with a small, short lived, tan head. Sweet caramel malt aroma with a hint of maple. Sweet caramel malt flavour and maple with a mildly dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

On tap at Granville Island, pours a clear orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma is mild with notes of maple syrup and caramel malt. Flavour is similar, bringing out similar subtle maple and caramel notes. Fairly bland, but pleasant enough. Better than the other cream ale Granville Island used to brew. Decent.
