A robust malt profile balanced with bold notes of spicy, floral hops and plenty of bitterness from seven varieties of hops grown on Rogue Farms.

This is a big, alcoholic hop bomb of a beer. The dominant aromas are pine, honey, apricot, biscuit and a little raisin. The taste is dominated by the alcohol and pine resin, with a big oily coat all over your tongue. Not for the faint hearted, but if you just want to go large, this is certainly going to hit the spot.

Sampled from tap at ’Craft Beer Corner’. Clear, orangeish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny aroma of mango, orange, strawberry jam and pine. Rather sweet, malty, fruity-resiny taste of mango, orange, strawberry jam and lots of pine, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, very resiny finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice! On the malty side though.

9th Nov 2016: 335ml bottle between four at the monthly Shrewsbury beer exchange group meeting in Chez Sophie. Cheers Mike for this brew. Misty amber pour, white crown on top. Grassy, floral aroma with a citrusy leaning: taste follows the same lines with a piney and herbal addition to the flavouring. Liked it.

Draught half pint. Pours reddish brown, tan head. Aroma is intense but even though your average IPA: passionfruit, mango, grapefruit, bitter herbs. Taste is full, rich, very bitter and quite long-lasting.

Cloudy orange, nice white head. Smells of honey, nectar, melon, tropical fruit. Full creamy body. Dryish flavour. Honey & biscuit malts, citric medium bitterness. Nice balance. Very good.

Very similar to the 6 hop IPA butt more hoppy and bitter. Again a very mild but fresh hopper remote with a little bit of caramel malt and toffee. Medium-length better finish. Quite drinkable but I like the six better.

Gylden brun klar med høyt eggegult skum. Lukter sydhavsfrukter, noe nøtter, plommer og ananas. Fyldig. Medium + i bitterhet. Dype fruktige toner, sydhavsfrukter og noe maltige innslag mot fudge og nøtter. Middels lang, noe alkohol i avslutningen.
