This is John Maier’s secret recipe that blends all seven hops grown in the hopyard of Rogue Farms. It is a true taste of the terroir of the Wigrich Appellation, the oldest hops growing region in Oregon.
A robust malt profile balanced with bold notes of spicy, floral hops and plenty of bitterness from seven varieties of hops grown on Rogue Farms.

355ml bottle. Pours amber with a little head. Aroma is caramel, peach, apple, melon. Flavour has more sweet caramel fruit up front and a biscuit finish, with some bitterness left to savour. It’s a big mess of caramel and biscuit malts and big bitter fruity hops, in the best way. Fabulous.

Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad relativt klar vätska med medhögt smutsvitt skum. Fin doft med citruszest, fudge, smörkola och havrekakor. Lite old school IPA med riktigt bra kropp som är fint knäckig utan att bli för söt och till det en zestig lite marmeladig citrussmak med bett i beskan. Riktigt gott.

Pours hazy dark orange with a moderate off white head that’s persistent and leaves lace. Aroma of caramel malts, stewed fruit, marmalade, bread, pine, soapy florals. Flavour is moderate caramel malt, apple juice, hop resins, vague citrus peel notes, pine, grains. Towards the finish, quite high bitterness washes out the malt sweetness, rather soapy, astringent, low on flavour. Medium bodied, average carbonation. The freshness isn’t so great here, I know, but it feels like an old school malty and bitter IPA despite the relative lack of residual sugar on the palate. Doesn’t excite.

355ml Bottle - Amber with a small head. Pine, toffee, pineapple, grapefruit, peach and apricot in the aroma. Biscuity malt, ginger, pear, grapefruit, peach, apricot and toffee can be detected in the hoppy and zesty taste. Quite complex hop profile and more interesting than I was expecting.
